The Embassy of the Republic of Colombia in South Africa and concurrent to Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Gabon, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe, wishes to convey on behalf of the people of Colombia, congratulations to all Africans on Africa Day (May 25) which this year is celebrated under the theme Building towards the future - People in Need.

Africa Day provides us with an opportunity recognize to honour the inspirational men, women and youth who worked for the unity and freedom of the African continent and the establishment of the Organisation of Africa Unity (OAU) in 1963. 

Recognizing the historical and cultural ties with Mother Africa, the Embassy of Colombia in South Africa will continue to work and strengthen the dialogue with our African partners in areas of common interest, building together a better future for our next generations, in particular those in a situation of vulnerability.
